VW Up! For the World Car of the Year 2012

Volkswagen Up

The second day of the carpet New York Auto Show 2012 has the choice of the annual agenda of the best cars in the world, or the World Car of the Year 2012, where known. This year, the Volkswagen Up! managed to win the title against 34 other models like the two other finalists from Germany, BMW 3-Series and the Porsche 911.

In the category of World Green Car of the Year, won a prize of 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, Mercedes-Benz S Mercedes to beat his rival, Ford Focus and Peugeot 3008 electric hybrid. This is the second title for the Bluetec Mercedes-Benz E320 Mercedes-Benz after winning the title in 2007.

Range Rover Evoque

In the meantime, as expected, won the Range Rover Evoque the World Car Design of the Year. Range Rover is the only non-German winner. British crossover study does have to be a very elegant and modern.
